SANTA VISIT AND THE PINK PIG

Most of you have heard of Santa but maybe not the Pink Pig. The Pink Pig is a pretty big tradition here in Atlanta as you'll see from the link. We had a great day visiting Santa, who I must say is one of the best Santa's you'll ever see! The one we had for many years passed away 3 years ago but this one is pretty amazing. If you want to have your photo with this Santa you have to make a reservation (which are gone within a few hours) in advance or you may not get the chance at this great photo opportunity. They really do make it a wonderful, if not a magical experience for you and your family. We didn’t know if Quinn would go up to Santa willingly this year or not, he didn't last year. When it was our turn Quinn walked right up to Santa and sat on his lap with a big smile on his face the entire time. We had to reassure Cooper it was okay to go talk to him. I told Bryan later that I thought he was a little worried about going to talk to Santa because he had a few not so good days in school as of late. Nonetheless he walked up and discussed the list that he had filled out for him-- so cute! At first I thought I was crazy for going so early but now that I've experienced that I don't think I'll go in December again mainly because of the crowds! The Pink Pig is a pretty fun holiday event here in Atlanta. It just so happens that two pretty big malls are across the street from each other and they both host one of the major events—Phipps Santa and the Pink Pig. I must say that makes going to both in one day much easier. The Pink Pig was not crowded at all given our early November arrival! The boys had so much fun going around on the Pink Pig with mom and dad! We look forward to doing it again next year!!!
